Part 1: Shared terms
1. About these Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the C45 Artisan Coffee website or ordering service (the "Service") and any order you place through it. "We", "us" and "our" mean Hanaali Foods W.L.L, a company registered in the Kingdom of Bahrain under commercial registration number 89543, trading as the Brand through the branch named in the Schedule, with its registered office at Shop 1134, Building 2210, Road 2827, Block 428, Al Seef, Kingdom of Bahrain. "You" means anyone who uses the Service or places an order.
By creating an account, placing an order or otherwise using the Service, you accept these Terms. These Terms are made up of this Part 1, the Payment Terms in Part 2, and the Schedule for the Brand you are ordering from.
2. Definitions
-
Service: the Brand's app, website or ordering service.
-
Order: any request you place for food, drinks or other products, whether one-off or under a plan or pass.
-
Content: all text, recipes, nutritional information, menus, images, logos and other material we make available.
-
Delivery Partner: any third party we engage to deliver your Order.
-
Payment Provider: the licensed third-party payment provider that processes online payments.
-
Schedule: the brand-specific terms in Part 3.
3. Eligibility and orders by minors
The minimum age to use the Service is 6, unless the Schedule sets a different age. By using the Service you confirm that the details you give us, including your age, are true. By paying, you confirm that the card, BenefitPay account or Apple Pay wallet you use was issued to you, or was given to you to use by its account holder for your own purchases.
A parent or guardian may contact us at any time about an Order, plan or pass bought by someone below the age of majority. We will cancel it and refund in full any part not yet delivered or used, without any deduction. If a card was used without its holder's permission, the cardholder may contact us and we will refund any part not yet delivered or used. A parent or guardian may also buy for, or set up an account for, a child.
If we know an account holder is under 18, we will not send them marketing messages.
4. Your account
Some features need an account. Keep your login details (including one-time codes sent to your phone) confidential. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission; we will investigate and will not hold you responsible for activity you did not authorise once you have told us. We may suspend or close an account where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached, or to protect the Service or other customers. If we suspend or close your account, or discontinue a Service, we refund any prepaid amount for products not yet delivered or used, except where the law allows otherwise. You can delete your account from within the app; how active plans and passes are settled on deletion is set out in the Schedule. We keep transaction and tax records for as long as the law requires.
5. Placing an Order
You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us, including your address, contact information, collection details and any dietary or allergy information.
An Order is accepted only when we confirm it, as described in the Schedule. Taking your payment is not the same as accepting your Order: if we take payment but cannot accept the Order, we refund it in full. We may decline or cancel an Order, for example where an item is unavailable, we cannot fulfil it at the chosen time or place, or we suspect fraud. If a product is shown at an obviously wrong price because of an error, we may cancel the Order and refund you in full.
6. Pricing
Prices are shown in the Service. The price that applies is the one shown when you confirm your Order. All prices are in Bahraini Dinar (BHD) and include VAT unless stated otherwise. A price change for a plan or pass you already hold applies only from your next renewal, and we will tell you at least 7 days before so you can cancel. Promotions and their conditions are shown with them.
7. Availability, substitutions and photos
If an item you ordered becomes unavailable, we will offer a substitute only with your agreement, and never one that conflicts with allergies you have declared; otherwise we remove the item and refund it. Photos are for illustration; colours and decoration may vary slightly from the image.
8. Collection and delivery
Collection and delivery options, times and areas are set out in the Schedule and shown at checkout. Times are estimates, though we will make reasonable efforts to meet them.
We leave an Order unattended only if you ask us to and the place is suitable; from then, the risk of loss, theft or spoilage passes to you. If we cannot complete a delivery or handover because you are unavailable or the details you gave are wrong, after the contact attempts described in the Schedule, you may still be charged for that Order. If we are late, wrong or unable to deliver, you are entitled to the remedies in clause 10. Our products are perishable: please refrigerate them promptly and consume them by the date on the label.
Where we use Delivery Partners, we share only the information they need to deliver (such as your name, address and phone number).
9. Food safety and allergens
Please inspect each Order when you receive it. Our kitchens handle common allergens, including wheat (gluten), dairy, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, soy, fish, shellfish and sesame. We show allergen information as "Contains" and "May contain"; we do not claim any product is free from an allergen, and we cannot guarantee that any product is free from cross-contact. If we cannot confirm that a product is safe for allergies you have declared, we will not supply it and will offer a replacement or a refund. If you have an allergy or intolerance, read product information carefully and seek medical advice where needed. If you have an adverse reaction, contact a healthcare provider immediately.
10. Your statutory rights
Nothing in these Terms, including any Schedule, removes or limits any right you have under Bahrain law, including your rights where a product is faulty, not as described or not supplied. Cancellation, refund and reporting windows in the Schedules apply to change-of-mind requests and do not restrict those rights. Please tell us about a problem with your Order as soon as you can, ideally within 24 hours and with a photo; this helps us resolve it quickly but is not a condition of your rights.
11. Intellectual property
All rights in the Service and its Content belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-commercial licence to use the Service and Content. You may not copy, reproduce, resell, scrape, reverse-engineer or commercially use any part of the Service or Content without our prior written consent.
12. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to: interfere with or disrupt the Service or its security; access data or accounts you are not authorised to access; use automated tools to scrape data; introduce malicious code; impersonate anyone; collect other users' personal information; or infringe the rights of others. We may suspend access for any breach of this section.
13. Reviews and content you submit
You are responsible for reviews, comments, photos and other content you submit, and confirm it is accurate, lawful and does not infringe anyone's rights. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display and publish reviews and ratings in connection with the Service. Private content you give us to fulfil an Order, such as a message for a cake or a reference image, is used only to fulfil that Order; we will ask your permission before publishing a photo of a product made for you.
14. Third-party links and services
The Service may link to third-party websites, apps or services that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and a link is not an endorsement.
15. Communications
We contact you electronically (in the Service, by email, SMS, WhatsApp or push notification) about your account and Orders. Marketing messages are sent only if you have opted in by ticking an unticked box, and you can opt out at any time. Electronic communications from us satisfy any legal requirement that communications be in writing.
16. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data under Bahrain's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 30 of 2018), including the lawful basis for any allergy or health information we process. We collect only the information we need.
17. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may change the Service and update these Terms. For material changes, we will notify you and ask you to accept the new version. Changes do not apply to Orders already confirmed, to plans or passes already paid for until their next renewal, or to disputes that arose before the change.
18. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data or goodwill. Subject to the next sentence, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Order, plan cycle or pass giving rise to the claim. This limit does not apply to death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, gross negligence, breaches of food-safety law, refunds we owe you, or any liability or right that cannot lawfully be limited.
19. Misuse
If you deliberately misuse the Service or break the law in using it, and this causes us loss from a claim by a third party, you agree to compensate us for that loss.
20. Force majeure
We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as severe weather, supply disruption, power or network failure, or acts of government. If such an event stops us supplying something you have paid for, we will offer a new date or refund that part.
21. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the courts of Bahrain have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you have.
22. General
These Terms, the Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. We may assign our rights in a reorganisation or sale of our business. An Arabic version of these Terms will follow.
23. Contact
Questions can be sent to team@c45.co or WhatsApp +973 3894 4442, or by post to Shop 1134, Building 2210, Road 2827, Block 428, Al Seef, Kingdom of Bahrain.
24. Orders and enquiries by WhatsApp, phone or social media
A message you send us by WhatsApp, phone, email or social media asking for a product, a quote or a booking is a request, not a binding Order. Before you commit, we send you the items, total price, date, the cancellation conditions that apply and a link to these Terms. It becomes a binding Order only when, after you agree, we confirm it to you in writing.
Part 2: Payment terms
P1. Who takes your payment
All online payments for every Brand are processed through a single payment account held by Hanaali Foods W.L.L (CR 89543), the seller for all Brands, with a licensed payment provider, Tap Payments. Your card statement will show a descriptor identifying Hanaali Foods or the Brand.
P2. Payment methods
We accept the methods shown at checkout, which may include Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards, BENEFIT debit cards, BenefitPay and Apple Pay. Not every method is available for every product. In particular, BENEFIT debit and BenefitPay cannot be charged automatically, so they cannot be used for automatic renewals (see the Schedule).
P3. Security of your payment details
Card details are entered on the payment provider's own secure page, not on ours, and we do not store your full card number, CVV or PIN. Card payments may require 3-D Secure verification.
P4. When you are charged
-
One-off Orders: when you place the Order. The Order is confirmed only once payment is confirmed and we accept it (Part 1, clause 5).
-
Plans and passes: in advance, at purchase and, where the Schedule says the plan renews automatically, at the start of each renewal period.
-
Pay on collection: where the Schedule says so, you pay at the counter and this Part 2 applies only to any online payment.
We do not place pre-authorisation holds unless the checkout tells you so.
P5. Saved cards and automatic renewals
Saving a card for faster checkout is optional and separate from agreeing to automatic renewal. If you choose a plan that renews automatically, you authorise us to charge your saved card for each renewal until you stop renewal. You can stop renewal or remove a saved card in your account at any time before the next charge; removing the card stops future automatic renewals. The payment provider, not us, holds the saved card.
P6. Failed payments
If an automatic renewal payment fails, we will notify you and may retry the payment. Deliveries for the new period start only once payment succeeds. If payment does not succeed, the plan pauses until you pay or cancel. We do not charge late fees.
P7. Refunds
-
When a refund is due, we refund to the original payment method and only to the person who paid.
-
Where a method cannot be refunded automatically (for example, BenefitPay transfers), we refund manually by transfer to the verified payer.
-
We start every approved refund within 7 days and tell you the date. The time it then takes to reach you depends on your bank.
-
Where the law requires, we issue a VAT credit note.
P8. Duplicate or incorrect charges
If you are charged twice or for the wrong amount, contact us and we will refund the excess in full once checked with the payment provider.
P9. Disputes and chargebacks
Please contact us first if you have a problem with a charge. This does not affect your right to raise a dispute with your bank.
P10. Fraud prevention
We and the payment provider may check payments for fraud and may decline or cancel a payment or Order we reasonably believe is fraudulent. Any amount taken for a cancelled Order is refunded.
P11. Receipts and VAT
You receive a receipt or VAT invoice for each payment, issued by Hanaali Foods W.L.L and showing the Brand and branch.
Brand schedules
Schedule F: Websites (browsing and information)
Applies to: every brand website in this pack when you browse it without ordering (ghancha.co, aliabakes.co, c45.co, greenbeets.com, hanaalifoods.com, the Farm Fork site), the offers pages and our short links. Operator: Hanaali Foods W.L.L.
F1. Information on the sites. We try to keep menus, prices, opening hours, photos and other information accurate and up to date, but they may change without notice and may occasionally contain errors. Prices on a menu page are for information. We show the total price before you order, and we do not increase a price after you have agreed it. For table ordering, Schedule I applies.
F2. Use of the sites. Part 1 clauses 11 (intellectual property), 12 (acceptable use), 14 (third-party links), 16 (privacy) and 21 (governing law) apply to your use of the sites.
F3. Cookies and analytics. Essential cookies and similar storage keep the sites working. Analytics and advertising measurement are off until you allow them through the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. Our short links and QR codes count clicks without cookies. See the Privacy Policy.
F4. Hanali Group website. The Hanali Group website is operated by Hanali Group Holding Co. WLL (CR 111627-1), which is a separate company from Hanaali Foods W.L.L. For that site, references to the operator, data controller and contact details mean Hanali Group Holding Co. WLL and the contact details published on it. That site sells nothing. Clauses F1 to F3 apply to it with "we" meaning Hanali Group Holding Co. WLL.
Schedule G: Offers and promotions
G1. Each offer shows its own conditions with it: what it covers, where it can be used (in outlet, app or website), its start and end dates, and any minimum spend.
G2. Unless the offer says otherwise: one offer per Order or bill; offers cannot be combined with each other or with staff or corporate discounts; they have no cash value and cannot be exchanged or transferred; and they apply only while stocks last.
G3. We may end or change an offer early only for a good reason (for example, a pricing error or misuse) and will honour Orders already confirmed under it. Any change remains subject to any promotion permit or approval required by law.
G4. If you cancel something bought under an offer, the refund is worked out under the relevant brand Schedule using the amount you actually paid. There is no separate clawback of the offer. Your statutory rights and Part 1, clause 3 are not affected.
Schedule D: Pickup ordering on the brand websites
Seller: Hanaali Foods W.L.L, trading as the outlet you order from, shown at checkout and in the site footer with its branch CR. Contact: team@c45.co or WhatsApp +973 3894 4442. Channel: each brand's website ordering page.
D1. Minimum age: 6 (Part 1, clause 3).
D2. Collection only. Orders are for collection at the outlet and time shown in your order. No delivery.
D3. Payment and acceptance. Unless online card payment is offered at checkout, you pay by BenefitPay transfer and send the proof by WhatsApp as shown at checkout. Your Order is accepted when the outlet confirms it by WhatsApp.
D4. Cancellation and refunds. You may cancel for a full refund until the outlet confirms your Order. If the outlet cannot fulfil your Order, you get a full refund. Refunds are made by BenefitPay transfer to the account that paid, in line with Part 2 (P7).
D5. Uncollected orders. We hold your Order for the time stated in your confirmation after the collection time. After that, it may be disposed of for food-safety reasons and is not refunded, unless the delay was our fault.
Schedule E: foodpost staff pre-order portal
Seller and operator: Hanaali Foods W.L.L, selling items from its Ghancha, alia Bakes, greenbeets and Farm Fork brands. Channel: c45.co/foodpost.
E1. Who can use it. Staff of participating organisations (currently Al Aali Mall and its shops; later the Beyon, GIB and KFH buildings). You confirm when you sign up that you work for the organisation you select, and verify your phone number with a one-time code. We may suspend an account we reasonably believe is not eligible; this does not affect refunds for orders already paid.
E2. Staff discount. 15% off all items, shown as one discount line at checkout. It does not combine with other promotions.
E3. Order windows and cut-offs. Breakfast: collection 06:30 to 07:30, order or cancel by 21:00 the day before. Lunch: collection 11:00 to 12:00, order or cancel by 09:00 the same day. Times may change and are shown in the portal.
E4. Collection and payment. Orders are delivered free to the C45 counter at your site. We send an SMS when your Order is ready, and you pay at the counter when you collect.
E5. Uncollected orders. If you do not collect an Order, we send you a private notice. A second uncollected Order within 60 days that has not been waived pauses ordering until it is reviewed with you at the counter or by our team. Orders that were not collected because of our own failure never count.
E6. Your employer. We do not share your orders or purchase history with your employer.
Schedule H: Business customers (catering, wholesale, corporate gifting and trade accounts)
Applies to: catering orders (Ghancha and other brands), C45 wholesale and corporate coffee supply, alia Bakes corporate gift boxes, and Hanaali Foods distribution trade customers. Seller: Hanaali Foods W.L.L, trading as the relevant brand. These terms apply to customers buying for business purposes, and the person ordering confirms they are authorised to act for the named business. Catering and gift orders bought for personal use are consumer orders under Parts 1 and 2. Any mandatory rights a business customer has are not affected. Parts 1 and 2 also apply, except Part 1 clause 3 (minors) and clause 18 (replaced by H10).
H1. Quotes and orders. We send a written quote showing the items, quantities, prices (including VAT), delivery or collection details and any deposit. A quote is valid for the period stated on it. An order is binding when we confirm it in writing after you accept the quote (Part 1, clause 24).
H2. Deposits and payment. Unless we agree a trade account, we may ask for a deposit when you confirm and the balance by the date stated in the quote. You can pay by bank transfer, card or payment link, BenefitPay, or cash on delivery where agreed. VAT invoices are issued by Hanaali Foods W.L.L.
H3. Trade accounts. We may offer a credit account at our discretion, with a credit limit and payment terms stated in writing. We may suspend deliveries on an account that is overdue or over its limit, and we may withdraw credit on reasonable notice.
H4. Changes. You may change quantities, menu or delivery details until the change deadline stated in the quote. Later changes are subject to availability and any extra cost, which we will tell you before accepting the change.
H5. Cancellation. If you cancel a confirmed order before the full-refund deadline stated in the quote, we refund the deposit in full. After that deadline, we may keep the cost of ingredients, packaging or branding already bought for your order, up to the deposit; after the late-cancellation deadline stated in the quote, we may charge our reasonable, evidenced loss, allowing for costs saved and reasonable steps to reduce that loss, up to the order value. We will show you how we worked out any amount we keep.
H6. Custom branding and gifts. Where you ask for your logo, name or message on products or packaging, you confirm you have the right to use it and approve a proof before production. Production starts only after your approval, and the lead time runs from then.
H7. Allergens for groups. We give you allergen information for each item. You are responsible for passing it to your guests or staff and for telling us in writing about any allergy or dietary requirement before we confirm the order. Part 1, clause 9 also applies.
H8. Delivery, set-up and risk. We deliver to the address and at the time confirmed. Risk passes to you when the order is handed to you or your representative. Food must be kept and served according to the storage and serving-time guidance we give; we are not responsible for problems caused by food being kept or served outside that guidance. This does not limit our responsibility for faulty or unsafe food caused by us.
H9. Problems. Please check the order on delivery, report visible shortages or problems as soon as possible, and report other defects promptly once found. This request does not remove your legal rights. We will replace or refund the affected items; credit is given only if you agree.
H10. Liability. Our total liability for any order is limited to the value of that order, and we are not liable for loss of profit, business or goodwill. Neither limit applies to death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, gross negligence, breaches of food-safety law, refunds we owe, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Schedule I: Ordering at the table (self-order)
Applies to: ordering at your table or counter in our outlets, by QR code or through the ordering page of the brand website (currently Ghancha Al Aali, Ghancha Café, C45 Al Aali and the alia Bakes counter).
I1. An order placed at the table is sent to our staff, who confirm it. Nothing is charged through the ordering page.
I2. You pay at the till before you leave. The price on your bill is final. If it differs from the ordering page, the lower price applies.
I3. Please tell our staff about any allergy before ordering. Part 1, clause 9 applies.
I4. For orders through the website, we ask for your name, mobile number and table number. Your order is sent to the outlet by WhatsApp and kept with our order messages as long as needed to handle your order and any follow-up. For QR self-ordering, when launched, we ask only for a first name and, optionally, a phone number, and delete them after 30 days.
